Women's and Men's apparel design
Minna Havo´s designs for Globe Hope women's and men's apparel collections for seasons Autumn/Winter 2020 to Spring/Summer 2022.
These collections were all about contemporary design style, beautiful melange colors and thoughtful details.
Success story for a sustainable brand
In 2019, a circular economy-based production model became more prevalent in Finland, utilizing existing products and materials to create new ones.
This was the first clothing collection produced in a completely new way for retail, continuing Globe Hope's 20-year success story in textile recycling.
The cotton needed for garment production was collected from textile industry cutting waste and polyester fibers were re-produced from recycled plastic bottles.
Customers praised the collection for its beautiful melange colors, contemporary style, design language, and thoughtful details, - which elevated the products to a whole new level.
Case 02 ⏤ Nothing New
Clothing collection that do not require the use of new raw materials in their production.
Minna Havo was chosen for the project due to her extensive design experience in women's, men's, and children's casual wear collections. She took responsibility for all aspects of the project.
As the lead designer for Globe Hope clothing collection, a sustainable fashion brand, Minna Havo was thrilled to design a clothing collection entirely made from recycled fibers in the fall of 2019.

Trend analysis & moodboards
Her tasks included trend analysis, designing the collection and prints, creating product guidelines as well as coordinating the collection photoshoots with the team.
The challenge was to incorporate contemporary fashion language into the garments through cuts and details that would appeal to consumers of different sizes. The collection also prioritized the use of eco-friendly materials in prints and accessories, such as coconut wood buttons. Thoughtful use of zippers facilitated the recycling of the garments.
Minna Havo's ability to manage multiple responsibilities is evident as she successfully completed the Globe Hope collection design projects alongside her daily design work.
